Just got my camaro and was told fuel pump was bad...what kind of other problems can check before I go through that work. Glad to be apart of the third gen family.any advice will help...thanks!!!

 

Well if it shows usual symptoms of fuel pump failure then it is more than likely the fault. Just check fuel pressure when you crank it, if its good gas and no leaks with low pressure, yank the pump. There are other technical ways to diagnose the pump, usually pretty simple though. By checking fuel pressure you negate needing to check the ignition system for now
