Starter motor ign. wire - Where does it run from?

Starter motor ign. wire - Where does it run from?
Hi Guys,
In the final stages of my build and have run across 2 wiring obstacles...
Thermofans and starter motor.
I took all the wiring out of the engine bay when I tidied it up, andn the motor and trans were completely removed and replaced.
I've plugged the main harness back into the firewall to hook everything back up, but I can't seem to find the wire that goes to the starter motor.
Does anyone know where this wire from the ignition switch goes to on the way to the starter, or what colour it would be in a 1985 TPI firebird?
I don't mind if I have to wire it in from the ignition, but if I can know where it's supposed to go, maybe I can track it down.

Should be a purple wire. Don't recall where it runs in the harness.

Ok thanks, that's enough o be able to at least start testing with a multimeter to find it.
Hopefully there's a purple wire dangling somewhere.
Next trick is finding the thermo fans connector and relays.

the starter wire is the purple one, and it goes thru the neutral safety switch on the shifter if you have an auto trans or thru the switch on the clutch pedal if you have a stick. if it isn't plugged into whichever safety device your car has, you will never see power under the hood.
