I have a 91 camaro i just purchased .it has a 1969 350 i believe is bored 30 over .ran into a problem with the motor so i decided to take it apart .i was told it had a solid roller but theres no roller lifters .i removed one of the beodix track one heads to see what pistons are in it .i was told it has 12:1 compression i was wondering icf someone can help me to identify this piston

 

Looks like a TRW "pop-up".

That particular style was a very small dome volume; not more than about 6 cc above a flat-top, if that. I'm not seeing 12:1 there.

What's the deck clearance?

 

No idea bought the car with motor he bought crom somebody no papers or receipts .i was thinking more like 11:1 with 64cc track ones

 

I have to replace the cam .after i pulled it it has a flat lobe. Its a 555 solid roller wich i think is to big was going with comp 292 hyd.flat but i need to get an idea of compression

 

Looks like the dome adds very little beyond what the valve relief takes away.

What's the deck clearance?
