I need to replace the fuel sending unit in a 1984 Firebird V6. I ordered a Spectra FG20A but it is not the same. It has 3 wires going to it, and one of the lines coming out is a screw-on type. The original just has 2 wires and all 4 lines coming out are flared for hoses and clamps. The FG20A is meant for an in tank pump, and my original does not have one. I'm sure I could modify it and make it work, but I'd rather just get the correct part to begin with. Any and all help with part numbers and sources would be greatly appreciated.

 

Looks like we're in the same boat. Or at least I'm now where you were 4 years ago! How did that turn out?
