Not third gen but still very cool. There's a company that takes current production Camaros and converts the into custom Firebirds, GTO's etc. Along with the help of Burt Reynolds, they're producing 77 custom Bandit TransAms. When you look at it, you can say it has the same styling as the 1977 TransAm and really looks like a Pontiac production car but has all the modern high performance features including an 840HP LSX454 engine.

I don't even think I would want to know the cost but I'd guess at close to or over $100k. I'm sure they'll still sell all 77 of them. I'd want one.
