IAT question

My car doesn't have an IAT sensor in the bottom of my open element cleaner. Never had one since I bought the car. my question is where does the wire go so I can try and find it (maybe it's zip tied up some where?)? Once it leaves the air cleaner I have no idea where that wire should go/connect.

Re: IAT question

Does your service engine soon light come on? If not the sensor is probably plugged in and hanging around or tied up somewhere. The little white two connector plug is on wiring about a foot long that come from the big wire loom going along the passenger side valve cover in the area between the dist, air cleaner and the map sensor. If you can't find it I can get you a picture
