Help
I have a Edelbrock TES system. I did the mistake of not buiying the Stainless steel ones. My pipes are rusting ( i live in FLORIDA). I have sand blasted them, and now I am interested in coating them with something. I really dont want to spend the extra buck for ceramic coating and all that... I am looking for some home remedy. Any ideas?
Also, the "honeycomb" like structure inside my catalytic converters has desintegrated. I basically took chunks of it out of the catalytic converter. WHY THIS HAPPENED?
FOr side note, my car has very rich emission othors. No black or white smoke, though, and the car is rigth.

As far as the exhaust goes.....you're gonna need to spend some money if you want a good quality, lasting finish.
Your car is 14 years old, and i'd suspect your cat is too. Those things detiorate over time. Hollow it out and find a crooked shop to inspect it, or get a new one from catco.
