carb to FI fuel line size question
Converting 87 LG4 to FI Tech with Walbro 255 (TPI) pump.
Question: The LG4 return line is 1/4". Is this going to cause me trouble? and is it recommended that i switch to the TPI sender even though it has that funky fitting for the flexible connection to the filter that isn't available?
I'm assuming, of course, that the TPI sender has a 5/16 return...? I've found replacement line sets that describe the TPI return as 5/16 BUT the same sources describe the carb return as 5/16 (measured at the sender it is 0.25IN).
Swapping to the TPI fuel lines to the engine bay is certainly do-able, but I have the tank out now and was hoping to run the carb lines until I score a good used set of TPI lines. (the carb lines run too close to the right exhaust for my taste-which is a separate issue from the return line size).

Re: carb to FI fuel line size question
more measurements of the return line shows that it is closest to 5/16" than 1/4", although it does neck down to 1/4" in places.
with the TPI tank to filter connector unavailable it appears there is no overwhelming reason to swap to the TPI sending unit.
