What is this part?

What is this pump? Can I drive on this for a day or two until I get this part or don't even start the car back up? Needa fast fix as I must drive this car until Nov. 1.

Smog pump pulley. Should turn smoothly with the belt. Any wobbling could possibly be loose bolts( 10mm ), but play with noise usually means pump or bearing failure. Noise is mostly nuisance and unless really loose can last for a bit until you replace it. Lots of play can result in increased belt wear though

If the pulley doesn't turn then the pump is shot and needs replacing. The loud screechy noise is the belt slipping on the pulley ( should be making the pulley really hot) Belt will break soon leaving you stranded. Unless you can route the belt around it somehow

New is not that expensive, used is just asking for it. Pretty easy to change too
