Fuel-spark she wont start...what gives?

Car: 1989 trans am gta /2001 Jeep wj
Fuel-spark she wont start...what gives?

45 psi at the fuel rail it lights up my spark tester 12.7 volts at the coil . Even with starting fluid it wont kick? What am I doing wrong here? I had it running 4 weeks ago

This is a little confusing. Are you saying you have spark or just saying you have 12 volts at the coil? If just 12 volts at the coil, check your spark. Could be the ICM gone bad, won't pulse injectors or give spark. Spraying starting fluid, you should at least get a pop. I'm guessing no spark which leads to the ICM. Check out the troubleshooting guides at Chevythunder.com. GL!

I do have spark and there is 12.7 volts at the coil .the injectors are pulsating as well. I pulled the distributor last night to replace the coil pickup and discoverd one of the 4 metal posts that the magnet rotates inside of had snapped off and was wedged up against the pick up. im guessing this may be my issue lol
