Rich Condition

I have a terrible rich condition on my engine. The exhaust ordors are strong. However, I donot have any smoke on the pipe.

THis rich condition is so bad, that is disintegrated the 'honey comb" on the catalytic converter.

Now, I am pretty sure that the problem does not lie on the ignition.

I have had the same problem with a stock carburator i put as a test. So I am looking for other reasons

The only thing I can think is that the 1.6 rocker arms with the 208/221 (GM ZZZ3) cam are the culprits!

Any sugestions

How is the car running? What did you set the timing to after you put the intake back on? Did you change pushrods with those higher ratio rocker arms?
