Disappearing coolant

Can't seem to figure out where it's going. No coolant in the oil, no oil in the coolant. New radiator, no leaks. No puddles under the car. I get a little white exhaust but that pretty much goes away once the engine warms up. I can fill the overflow tank to the Full Cold line, drive a few miles, let it cool down, and I'm 1/8 -1/4 below the line. Car is mostly a garage queen, I don't drive it much, but I would like to solve this issue.

Re: Disappearing coolant

Just a thought, I had a similar problem on my car. It turned out I smelled coolant a couple weeks later while driving the car and my windows fogged up. Check the passenger side foot well up front if it's wet? My heater core let go and peeed all over the carpet. Doh

Re: Disappearing coolant

The water pump leaks inside the pulley, which then slings a fine mist. Almost imperceptible.

Check the underside of your WP.

Re: Disappearing coolant

Thanks for the replies. Since I replaced the water pump a few years ago, I never considered the possibility it could have failed again. I'll check this weekend.
