I bought a 84 Camaro without engine and transmission. The guy sold me the car had a modded 350 on it before and installed headers on it (he keeped the engine), I don't know the exact brand of headers.

I am refreshing a stock 305 to install on it, and I want to install the car headers on it, but I'm wondering which set of spark plugs and wires from summit racing which are bests to make sure clearing header.

As cheap as possible (the car engine is completely stock anyway)

-90 degree boots with ac delco standard plugs?
-90 degree boots with shorter plugs?

 

Most likely the ACs will work, but shorty plugs make it pretty much a given.

I always ran Accel shorties in my 305 & 350 with Hooker 2055 headers. Some people hate Accels, they never gave me any trouble. But, it's been 7 years since I've had a SBC in my car, so things may have changed since then.

 

Is it possible to have the link or the number of the part from summit racing ? (There are a lot of spark plugs wires)

 

NGK R's are cheaper and just as short. You can go to any parts store and ask for a set that fit the stock 305 and they should have them in stock.

 

NGK UR4's (6630) for carbs or UR5's (2771) for FI will work fine. These are the V-Power "R" plugs.

I run NGK's and Accel 8mm Super Stock, cut and terminate to fit, 90-degree boot wires (Summit ACC-4040R) with my SLP headers and have no electrical, clearance or scorching issues.
