Here's what I'm thinking... (please add your own sound effects)... Picture this, So, I pull up to the starting line, cars quiet and just running like a plain ol TA. I back up a bit, hit a switch and the headlights drop and light bars the nose cone come on (looks more aerodynamic). I hit another switch to engage the cut-off on the exhaust and the car comes to life (flames shoot out the pipes... maybe, IDK yet). I hit another switch and 2 small confederate flags rise up out of the back corners of my TA and a Dixie horn blairs my theme song. Pretty impressive, right? Lol

Here's my delima... how do I get the flags to do this? Do I put them on 2 telescoping motorized antennas? I need a way to get them to be concealed until I need them and they need to go down and store somewhere. So I would need a pocket around the "flag pole" and some kind of cap to cover the pocket that automatically closes when the flags go down. Is there a product that I could tweak and make work or am I just day dreaming? Some guy told me he had seen some flags that do this on boats for transit. I can't find anything online so I could really use some help. It's going to happen, I just don't know how, yet

 

Confederate Flags??? Cmon man what a joke. I don't care if I get ripped for flaming you but bro it's 2017. You need to gtfo with that crap. And don't try the bull **** "it's southern culture and history. Part of me" How long have you been alive???? Confederate flag is the epitome of racism.... And it's cars like these why we get the joke of "****** mobile".

I have to agree, get over it man. I'm born and raised in the South and grew up as a kid with the Confederate flag all over kin folks vehicles and flying in their yards. Now that I'm grown I just don't get it. I don't like being offended therefore I try not to offend. I go to church with some great folks that I'm pretty sure that flag would offend so I refuse to participate in this "southern heritage". Don't do that crazy junk to a trans am, there's enough of these cars already being bastardized. Restore it or tastefully upgrade it.

"I hit another switch and 2 LARGE AMERICAN flags rise up out of the back corners of my TA and THE STAR SPANGLED BANNER plays through horns mounted to your roof!!!"

We got enough problems down here without you adding to it! SMH....gonna go lay down now.

 

Regardless of how you feel about it, someone may vandalize your car if you label it like that. From a practical perspective I think it's a bad idea to draw attention to your beliefs publicly in the current social environment.

BTW - the confederates lost. You know that right? The car wasn't built by slave labor. It was built with American union labor.

American flag - that's what you need to use here. Or the flag of the United Auto Workers. The UAW built your Trans Am - plenty of whom are white, black, and other nationalities. A flag that celebrates the men and women who built the cars we all love to drive. How about that?
