Car dies when hot
So, I recently replaced 4 of my injectors since they were shorted out and causing the car not to run. However, the other day, after driving a few hours, the car started to stumble at idle and jerk while accelerating. Then, when I pulled into a parking lot, it just died. Just to see what would happen, I unplugged the #8 injector and the car started and ran, but died shortly after.
My mind has 3 possibilities.
1. Injectors gone bad. I doubt this, since that would've caused the car not to run at all
2. Fuel pressure regulator. Just a guess, honestly
3. Fuel pump. This could be it, but I just replaced it a few months ago and haven't run the tank dry before (have let it get down below 1/4 though)
And I have read that it could be the ICM, but the entire distributor was replaced less than 400 miles ago with an OEM part
Edit: Might I add that the next day, I went to pick up the car and it started and drove fine for the 15 minutes drive home with all 8 injectors plugged in
