1987 Firebird EFE TVS Delete

I recently bought a 1987 Firebird Formula 305. This past weekend I had to rebuild the carburetor. While removing the vacuum lines, some of the hard plastic ones broke (as usual). Also one of the ports on the EFE TVS snapped off.

Is it safe to just bypass this switch or do I need to hunt for a replacement?

If your car is emission exempt just plug the line.
