Exaust manifolds
i have LG4 manifolds that are gonna go on my new 350, but i was wonderin if the manifolds off an 86 iroc are better?? cause i have those too but i wanna know which one is better or the same so i can bead blast them and repaint em!

I guess it depends on whether the IROC had a LG4 too....
The LG4 (and L03) manifolds are pitiful and should all be melted down as soon as possible to protect car owners from them. "Better" manifolds such a TPI or L69 ones aren't all that much better, maybe not as bad though. However, changing to them will require that you change the Y-pipe, which the larger one of won't bolt up to your cat, which if you get the right one of those, won't bolt up to the rest of your exhaust, etc. If you're going to go through an entire exhaust system swap like you will have to if you put in "better" manifolds, you might as well put on headers.
