Cold Start Injector woes
Okay, this is the second CSI I have put in my 3.1 (2.8 system) now. The first one was electrically sound but so internally clogged that no fuel got through so I had hard starting when cold. This second one I have had for a little over a month now and it is also electrically sound but is stuck open, so it's squirting all of the time, also causing hard cold starts and issues throughout the power band and fuel economy woes. I bought the stuck open one off of a guy on a Facebook sale page who said it was good but it apparently wasn't.
Question: Is there a place I can send these things out to be cleaned (if they will clean up)? I saw on a Vette forum, while perusing with the CSI part numbers hoping to possibly find a good, or even better new, one, that someone had sent theirs to Cruizin Performance to be cleaned. Cruizin Performance, from what I can tell, no longer exists or at least their website has been shuttered. And their email address doesn't work. Linder Technical Services no longer has a decent website. And I haven't seen anything about SouthBay being able to do the job (not sure if I would anyways with having had issues with them in the past trying to get the right injectors).
Any ideas as to what I can do with these things? The only new one I have seen is on eBay for a whopping $650!
