Please help.

Hi, I have just bought a 1990 305 camaro (Carb) as a non runner and I want to get it back on the road but I found this laying in the top of the engine connected to the cars electrics but no hoses connected.>
First question is what is it?
second question is where does it go?

Re: Please help.

Looks like tbi not carb, that's the diverter valve it mounts to the air pump, the hoses go to the air check valves on the exhaust manifolds.

Re: Please help.

Thanks everyone for their help. Do you have any close ups of the hose routing please? Please excuse the fact that I'm a bit of a novice(or thicko) with these cars.
