I need help

Im trying to find the correct speedo gear for my camaro the guy I bought it from put a th350 in it its got 4:10 posi swapped out of? i pulled the cover and checked the ring to be sure it is a 4:10 235/70r16 tires on the back if I remember right. I will double check tonight when i get home its about 20mph off. I know I need more teeth im running purple drive and brown driven right now. every calculator i punch it in wont give me a tooth count to get it any closer any help? I dont know weather to max out tooth count and go to the 44 tooth on the drive and then just swap driven gears till i get it as close as i can or what. Thanks guys move if its in the wrong spot really couldnt find a good spot that it fits in.

Re: I need help

The Trans & Drivetrain subforum would be a good place to start.

Generally speaking, there are usually charts and guides that show the best drive/driven gears that can be found online (Google). Search for the transmission type and speedometer gear and they should come up.

My transmission builder gave me a name for a guy in California to get my speedo gear for my car try this. His name is Jim 18888771008 he is supposed to be the transmission guru he will have some questions that you will need to answer in order for him to get you the right set up good luck

Don't know of you've checked out TCI Transmissions, but they have an online calculator that could be of some help.
