I am moveing there in March and need to know if they have any emissions testing. My 91Z definitely will not pass so I need to know if I need to sell it.

I don't know much about emissions but I've heard of people passing with a properly tuned car and a good catalytic converter. Even with a big cam and other mods. Have you ever tried to pass the sniffer before? I would take the car there and try before selling it. I saw your sig. and it sounds pretty mean. Have you ever been to the track with it? I heard that Clarksville has an 1/8 mile track. I live in W. Kentucky.

The track was closed when I finally got the car running, so no. But it will smoke the Nittos for about 15-20ft at 50mph just leaning on it hard. The last motor went 11.90@114 on its best day and this motor feels twice as strong allready and I don't have all the bugs worked out yet. Where can you get your car sniffed with out haveing it tested. I had friends to do it when I lived in California but we have no emissions testing in Clarksville.

I'm from Jacksonville, NC which is about 1hr and 45min from Fayetteville. As far as emissions go, they don't stick anything in the tail pipes here. About all you get is they will look under your hood for emissions stuff and they also will look for the cat. Even if you don't have that stuff you can still get it inspected if you look in the right places, It will cost more money though.

i used to live in fayetteville in the early 90's when i was in the 82nd airborne division. i think all they had then was a safety inspection...i remember my friend failed it because the horn was inop. they did a walk around checking tire tread, lights etc. best of luck, Tom
