MAF O-Ring?

Hi Everyone, I recently replaced my Mass Air Flow sensor on 1987 IROC 350. Do the MAFs require an O-Ring? I do not recall the old one having it, and mechanic is asking me if I have it. Should there be an O-Ring? There was definetly not one in the package when I purchased it. Thank you!

Yes, didn't find much online except for OEMcats. Are they legit?
Any opinions on the MAF O-Ring....how necessary is it?

Re: MAF O-Ring?

Just take the MAF to Lowe's or auto parts store and size one up to fit.
