seeking advice on engine build
im about to put an intake, heads, cam, and chipon my 87 iroc 5.7 liter tpi motor. and im hoping to pull 400-450 hp out of it. is this possible or wishful thinking on my part. also if anyone has any ideas please let me hear them. i will post my parts specs. when i get back to my house

Can be done on a good condition shortblock. Need some good flowing heads like an afr 195 or similar, decent cam in the 224 to 230 deg at .050" for hyd rollers, and an intake that supports some rpm like a miniram, stealth ram, single plane efi. I like the stealth ram and single planes more than minirams

Total pipe dream with TPI. Unless you want to add about a 150 HP shot of nitrous.
Quite easily done with an aftermarket intake system like those. Which of course are NOT TPI.

yes i was looking at holley steath intake and afr 190 street cylinder heads, and comp cams xtreme energy 276 exhaust .495 valve lift intake .503 exh. 112*lsa and a tpi chips chip i also have hooker black heart exhaust and headers. how long will a 700r4 last with this also. maybe to my mail box lol
