Cold Weather Hesitation
Cold Weather Hesitation
Hey guys, hope everybody's holidays went well.
Last night was one of the first truly cold nights up here in MA, and today isn't much better. When I took my '89 f'bird 305 TBI to work today, I noticed that if I punched the gas really hard, it would hesitate before doing anything. I can't tell if this is a fuel injector problem, a gas pump problem, or a spark problem, but I'm clearly not getting ignition for a brief moment in what I'm hoping is only a cold weather situation. Any advice as to how to test my poor Lo3 to see if the ignition system, or fuel injectors, or what are the problem?
Any advice would be helpful. As would offering to give me your 350 or Trans Am. That would be helpful too
