Car runs rough after valve cover swap. I think I killed my ecm

Swapped valve overs for some edelbrock valve covers. During the swap I did something I almost never do I forgot to disconnect the negative battery terminal . So when I was taking the valve cover off it touched the positive cable nut that is on the back side of the alternator. It was sparking for about 5 seconds. Well my car feels like it's missing after now and it idle rough. Do you think that I fryed my Ecm?

sounds more like youve disturbed something vacuum related in/around the covers.

No. It wouldn't run if you fried your ECM.

You may have dislodged some spark plug wires or vacuum lines. Start with the basics.
