Help with physics project

I don't know if this is the right area to post this but what the heck. I am doing a physics project on simple machines and how they come together to make a complex machine. Well I decided to do my Camaro. I was wondering if anyone knows of any web sites that goes into detail of parts and physics of cars and the simpler machines in a car that make it go. I know this is a long shot but project is due in about 3 weeks and I want to finish it in time.
Thanks.

This should help..

www.howstuffworks.com

There you can search for the individual components of a car. Most of the "stuff" on there is pretty good

Maybe someone else has a more technical site
