Coolant down lifter valley

I am in the process of replacing all the top end gaskets in an attempt to stifle a wandering idle and stalling issue, when taking the intake base off some coolant spilled into the lifter valley. Not a lot but enough to warrant making a post about it! I'm assuming that I now need to change my oil, correct?

Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Re: Coolant down lifter valley

You'll be doing that regardless of the coolant so that'll take care of it.

Re: Coolant down lifter valley

I should clarify that I meant intake manifold gaskets not top end. Will I need to do some sort of a "flush" or will a regular change do the trick?

Re: Coolant down lifter valley

Clean up the coolant in the valley. Then just do a oil change.
Coolant can destroy bearing!
