So I'm in the middle of installing an Edelbrock 1406... I know that many people think Rochester is better and I agree but I already bought it and that was my mistake. So when installing it I realized the EGR valve blocked off the linkage on the Edelbrock carb. I bought an EGR valve block off plate and installed that. What else do I need to do to EGR system so that I do not have any other problems?

Disconnect the vacuum line from where it connects to the ERG solenoid and plug it with a vacuum cap.

Re: EGR Delete
A block off plate will block the exhaust and the vacuum port.
