Anyway , your 1956 truck is not included in this forum's focus , which is 1982 to 1992 Chevy Camaro and Pontiac Firebird cars , the "third gen" of those models , ONLY . Yes I realize the TH700R4 is used in our cars but the specifics of installing one into a 1956 truck is far beyond the scope of what we do here . My best suggestion would be to search out truck restoration/customization sites and see if there is any info there .

 

Ididit is in fact a brand/model of aftermarket steering column.

I'm SO happy to know that , with all the bad spelling we see around here I just had to ask , never having heard of "Ididit" steering columns .

So with that said , wouldn't the Ididit company have installation videos or instructions that could help the guy out ?
