ZZ3 upgrade

Does anyone have experience or advice in regards to stroking a ZZ3 350 to a 383?
Any thoughts are appreciated.

Re: ZZ3 upgrade

You'll be using a complete new set of rods, pistons and a new crank so order for your intended useage. So you'll really only be keeping the block. Head porting will help w the extra cubes
Honestly you may make as much power with a better cam, ported heads, bigger valves or just better heads.

Let me know if you want to sell the stock ZZ3 rotating assembly

Re: ZZ3 upgrade

Given my prior experience with 383's, you have answered my question! Thank you.
I honestly wasn't worried about the makeup of the rotating assmebly but more so if the heads would support the the rest of the build. Not sue what I'm going to do at this point. Should I decide to replace the rotating assembly, I'll let cha know. Thank You for you input!
