EVAP Without ECM?...

Transmission: 700R-4, 2000 RPM stall converter
Axle/Gears: 10-bolt/3.73 ..
EVAP Without ECM?...

Can the EVAP system be set up to function without the ECM?
If so, what must be done?...

Hook the vacuum line from the evap to ported vacuum and delete the solonoid.

Won't this create a vacuum leak? (Maybe I'm confusing port vacuum??)

Ported vacuum is above the TB, or before, so it's not a real vacuum leak. It would be working like a venturi in this application and since it is in the intake tract, it would just pull the vapors into the air stream
