roof seals

I have a couple of questions concerning T-Tops. I have an 83

1. Did they make a change on the size of the glass on the 3rd generation cars at some point?
2. Is this part number correct for a GM seal kit? 10164133

I called the dealer today and got conflicting stories from two different ppl. The first person said that the seals were discontinued. I called a second time and got part #'s 10198209 and 10198208. I'm assuming the difference is left and right. I just don't want to spend the money and get the wrong parts. Any help you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I got mine from GM. They're not discontinued. I threw away the boxes they came in, but you are correct, right and left have different part numbers to distinguish them.

I think I ended up paying around 210 bucks or so, and let me tell you, it's gaskets ONLY. No glue, nothin. Just a box with a seal in it, that's all. I think all the T-top seals were the same through 92, but don't quote me.
