Replaced intake gasket now it acts like timing is off
My son has a 91 RS Camaro 305 tbi. He replaced the intake manifold gasket and now it acts like the timing is off, but it's not. I checked it,he has the dist. And plug wires correct. Everything is right, the only thing that's changed is a new intake gasket. And yes it's the correct gasket. Please, any information will be greatly appreciated.

Well, to change the intake gaskets you have to pull the intake, which also means pulling the distributor, right? You say the timing is not off. What's the timing set at?

Did you put the timing BACK WHERE IT WAS, or did you hallucinate that some random "number" generated by "light" and "mark" would magically be "correct"?
How does the car act "like the timing is off"?
How does the car act "like the timing is off"?
