Oil Pressure/Temp connections?

I'm swapping the gauges out on my 91 Camaro (305)...Originals were electric and Canadian (metric)...I'm installing mechanical gauges which also have warning lights...so each gauge actually needs two feeds: one for the mechanical sensor, and one for the electric sender to the warning light.

My original gauges did not include an oil temp gauge.

Where/how do I connect these to the block?

I've currently got a water temp sender on the driver side, near the exhaust ports, and an oil pressure sender just above the oil filter.

Last year, I yanked the EFI and put on a carb...I've now got two old unused senders on the passenger side (one between the exhaust ports, one down lower) - but both of these appear to leak coolant when I loosen them.

My Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold also has two brass plugs on either side of the thermostat housing. I'm assuming these are both water temp sensor locations??

I need to hook up the following:

1 mechanical Oil Pressure feed
1 mechanical Oil Temp feed
1 electric Oil Temp warning sender
1 mechanical Water temp feed
1 electric Water temp warning sender

I figure I can satisfy two of these with the two working water temp/oil pressure senders I currently have.

Where should I hook up the remaining:
2 Water temp feeds (one mechanical, one warning sender)
2 Oil Temp feeds (one mechanical, one warning sender).

I feel really stupid that I can't figure this out, but I'm looking for a reliable, clean set-up... (This is an SCCA A-Sedan Camaro I'm building...)

Thanks for any help.

you should just use a T on your existing pressure taps

they will minimize wiring and fittings.

T-Fittings

Yes, I'd considered T-fittings...

I could certainly do that for the water temp - using a T to feed both the mechanical gauge and the electric warning sender.

However, for the Oil Temp & Oil Pressure, I'd end up needing 3 connections (Oil Temp Gauge, Oil Temp warning sender, and Oil Pressure Gauge - the Oil Pressure warning light sender is actually connected at the back of the gauge).

The only "oil port" I know of is my current oil pressure sender unit located just above the oil filter...it's pretty crowded down there and I'm not sure I can cram a T fitting with 3 branches on it down there.

Are there any other ports to use for Oil Temp or Oil Pressure??
