Change to bronze distributor gear?
I'm using an after market HEI distributor from Skip White in my CSB factory roller block.
Last season I changed to an after market hydraulic roller cam from Howards Cams. Item number 183215-14.
Should I change to a bronze/composite gear on the distributor?

I have comps composite gear on my small cap HEI, had to make a small shim to make it fit the smaller shaft but no complaints so far.

Only if the cam is made of forged steel. If it's cast iron, run the stock iron gear...

Just received an answer from their support.
No need for bronze gear on that cam!
