1991 Z28 TPI

Hello Everyone!,

I just picked up a 91 Z28 from my neighborhood as a project. The car has an issue accelerating. It runs and starts and you can give it a bit of gas before it bugs down and tries to cut off... If you push on the gas like you normally would it wants to shut down. If you kind of easy the pedal little by little it kinds of let you accelerate some up to 3500 RPM no higher than that. Is not missing either that I can tell. The car will not drive since you can't accelerate. Things d=one so far flushed the gas tank, new fuel filter, new plugs, new alternator, ANY help tracking this bug would be awesome! Thx!

Catalytic converter may be plugged. Much exhaust coming out of the tail pipe? Could also be fuel pressure and/or injectors like Tuned Performance mentioned, or distributor problem i.e. ICM, pickup coil etc.
