Possible to remove PS Pulley with pump in car?

Hello all,

I've been fighting with my new water pump and while putting everything back together, I managed to have the bolt that holds the PS pump to the bracket (from the front) come all the way out. Not much clearance between this and the pulley and I've been trying to get it back in for hours. I really, really don't want to remove the PS pump from the car to get the pulley off, any suggestions for trying to get it out while on the car? I can get the front nut off easy enough, but the pulley doesn't want to move.

No problem.

Go to the parts store and "rent" a PS pulley puller/installer set.

With the proper tool, it is actually pretty easy.

Thanks for the info, good to know. But I found an even easier way...

Waited for the wife and her tiny hands to get home from work - took her about 3 minutes to get the bolt threaded in.

Tiny hands also make the _ _ _ _ _ look bigger.

Good observation, but this thread is not about C A N D Y, is it? Let's stay on task and get this PS pump fixed. You can ogle your Snickers bar later.
