HI I found my old Jet stage 2 chip in a box from that I had in my 1987 irocz 350tpi about 10 years ago now sold. I have now a 1988 350TPI iroc I put this chip in the other day just to see how it held up well it runs perfect its better that when it was in the 87 .My question is would it mess any thing up if I used it long term as its an 87 in a 88 I think stock the cam is slightly bigger in the 88 .Thanks for any advise

Generally considered to be garbage these days. All it really does is add in some timing and possibly lower the fan setpoint for a lower temp thermostat. For very inexpensively you can have Tunedperformance burn a chip for you that will be 100x better. He's a member here on the forum:

Thank you General for your reply yes I agree they are expensive a lot of $ for what they are . I will will take the route you advised have them burn a chip.
