Vacuum hose - when is reinforced (rated to 50hg) needed?
Hi Guys, this is just a general automotive question. Looking over at Rock Auto there are 2 types of vacuum hose to choose from, it appears non-reinforced is generally good to 25-30 hg and reinforced is good to 50 hg.
Are there specific areas of automobiles that are pulling higher than 25 hg? Wondering what reinforced would be used for?
Thanks for your insight!

Thanks. I was looking at this a little closer, and the temp ranges and vacuum ratings on reinforced and non-reinforced are about the same. the reinforced seems to come in bulk, causing it to be much more expensive.
