Spohn Gp!

(since steve is a paying advertiser at thirdgen here goes)

Steve Spohn (http://www.spohn.net) Is organizing another massive GP, He's trying to get in with a parts warehouse that stocks EVERYTHING that summitracing stocks. He needs $5,000 In orders before he can place his order. The kicker is this, To get in with the warehouse steve will sell EVERYTHING at cost untill this $5k is reached, If you want something from summit, get the summit part number, email it to tech@spohn.net, and he'll give you the wholesale price, once we have $5k the order will be placed and we'll all get our WHOLESALE parts!!!

DONT MISS THIS ONE GUYS!!!

they wont be for sale at wholesale prices again

Just to clarify. This is NOT through Summit. What he meant to convey was that pretty much any part that Summit, Jeg's etc. carries we can get. If you send me the part number I can cross-reference it to my supplier.

Thanks guys.

Keep it goin guys I know we can ALL use wholesale parts!

Anybody who just participated in the SLP GP through spohn this would be a great time (like me) to buy some hookers/dynomax/flowmasters to top it all off

Are we still under 5K? What happens when we go over 5K?

Over 5k is included in the purchase, but I think once its reached, or shortly after the order will be placed

I doubt we're over, most people are emailing spohn just for prices, instead of for orders. Look at it this way, if you were GOING to buy it from summit/jegs, just buy it now from spohn becuase the price will be the SAME or LESS, plus your money is supporting a better cause. Granted he wont be getting much of a cut if any, but this gets him in with that vendor which will benifit us all now, and in the future.

Thanks guys!

yea... but I already told Steve that I will be buying stuff.... it's just that the price depends on how much stuff.....

I know he doesn't want me buying stuff that I can't pay for. DUH!!! I ain't gonna put him out like that.

BTW, the total of my item's from Jeg's and Summit's prices totals about $800!!!!! I think that's a fair enough purchase to ask for the prices first, don't you?

Im sure every single one of us has/will ask about the prices.

As far as im concerned the more I can save the more I can buy

Exactly my point.

I can see the trouble if people were wanting to know the prices for stuff below $100. though. That would get annoying.

Plus, some of the stuff I don't know if he can get. Some things are specialties that Summit or Jeg's has just for them.

That is true, but its just a general rule so people realize this is a "warehouse" purchase.

I'm trying to get some guages (dont need the prices) and some mufflers, and maybe even heads if the discount is good enough, so the heads are the only thing I personally really need a price for because if I can't save enough money i'll just keep holding out for AFR's

No worries there because none of steves products were up for GP.

But the $200 spent at summit could have helped

I e-mailed Steve about the parts that I'm interested in. You can pretty much count me in, I just want to get a price before I commit. Just out of curiosity, when is the expected end-date for orders on this purchase?

Judging by the response, if the people who asked for prices, made an order for those parts/prices, it looks to me like 1-2 week and it will be over

I already know of about $4k worth of interest

I've qot a question about payment. How and when? I sent Steve a couple of small items but I wasn't sure what to put in my e-mail other than the part numbers and an address for shipping. I guess I'll e-mail him again with more info on myself.

I talked to Steve on the phone today. Not surprisingly he is swamped with part numbers. He said to be patient and he will get prices for all of the parts everyone emailed him about. He said he will email back with the prices you requested and ordering instructions if you wish to procede with ordering.

Steve, quick question.

Assuming the quote is attractive, will we be able to add to our email price request when we order?

Yea..... and it would be nice to get some sort of response.

I emailed you the list like 3 days ago.

Last night when I said "thanks" I meant for taking the time to do this. But I didn't realize that it would be after the cut off time before I got a response.

Now I sit here not knowing if you got my email, and the list of stuff I want. The worst part is that if you didn't get it, then I'm screwed. But it would be nice to know..... HINT HINT!!!!!

Relax guys

Untill you have any concept of the massive work load steve has you shouldn't be so quick to get impatient.

Not only does he have HIS business to contend with, but the people from the SLP GP, and Now the Warehouse GP. $5,000 of orders doesn't mean 5 people with 1k orders. It probably means more like 200 people with $20 orders, at 50% of them just wanting to KNOW the price, not intending to buy

Give steve time I know he's working on it

But all I want t know is if he got my email!!!!!!!

That's all. I just want a confirmation that he's going to be able to give me pricing on the stuff I want. As I said earlier, some of the stuff he may not be able to get.

That's it. I don't even care if don't get prices intil a week from now. That's not the issue. I just want to verify that he can give me pricing because he has my order.

Why is that being impatient? Especially since he set the cut off date AFTER I requested pricing.

BTW, If everyone wanted as much stuff as I want, then he would only need ~10 orders.

Anyone have a URL or something?

Well reading above... I see I missed the deadline by a good bit. When's the next one? I'll load up.

I just got confirmation from yahoo that my mail did not get delivered to Steve.

Steve

Is it possible for me to still get in on the group purchase?

Thanks

Steve-
I just followed your link that you sent me. It did have two items on the order, but both were listed at $0.00. I placed the order anyway. Hopefully it won't screw anything up. If you want to send me the items for $0.00 a piece, I won't complain, by the way .
