Walbro 450 question install kit

I need to know why walbro 450lph install kit has a plastic hose long and flexible with ribbing on it and they gave me 2 gear clamps to clamp it
I emailed a guy at walbro and he never answered me and gave me a Amazon link to clamps that cost 30 bucks
all I need to know is can I use the gear clamps
why on earth do they not give you 3/8" submersible fuel hpae like they did on the wally 400

If that's what's included I wouldn't feel bad about running them. That said if you're paranoid I'd just go grab a few they're all of about 4 bucks.

Re: Walbro 450 question install kit

who has ever heard of that
I use fuel inj clamps when I can
and gear clamps as a back up
I can buy submersible fuel hose from Napa it's 42bucks cdn 1 foot I only need 6" max
he told me he doesn't recommend using gear clamps with the plastic hose and I'm pissed because he needs to gimme the ones that fit the kit
I bought a walbro install kit
My old fuel pump and all of the other stuff I did in the past was always rubber hose
I feel like he ripped me off
I told him off
