I decided to read the real crapy instructions for my edelbrock headers again.. I realize now that you are suppose to take the valve off of the stock air injection pipe and put it on the fitting on the headers.. then they want you to use the supplied 5/8 rubber hose to connect it back to where it would normally connect.. only problem is I probably won't like the way it looks.. I wonder If I can buy some kind of 5/8 hose covering to at least make it look good..

 

You can buy steel braid hose cover and fake anodized ends in just about any size from summit/jegs.etc.

 

...or you can bend up some stainless steel pipe like the factory did to make for a really clean looking job. Just add some clear acrylic lacquer to give it a nice seal and gloss.
