Firebird 3.1 Purge Valve resistance

Hello guys,

I have issues with my Firebird idling rough. We have replaced the TPS, the coolant sensor, MAT, Delphi IAC, Fuel Injectors, Ignition Coil / cables, O2 sensor, EGR valve and many other things. Then we checked the EVAP canister valve. I have two canisters and both of them show a strange resistance behaviour.
Measuring the resistance between the two terminals it starts from approx. 1200 Ohm and keeps decreasing while measuring for just a few seconds to ~300 Ohm and lower. I have read somewhere else that the Purge Valved should be around 20-30 Ohm. Is there any varistor causing this, or are both of the valves completely out of service.

Engine is a T-Code 3.1 (LH0)

Re: Firebird 3.1 Purge Valve resistance

Update:

After using another Multimeter the resistance showed up a value around 30 Ohm, which seems to be okay. Thread can be closed.
Thx.
