Engine light comes and goes

Engine: 5.0 and 5.7
Engine light comes and goes
1988 formula l98 Engine light is coming on when i start it, goes of when you work it and comes on again when you coast it or stop.
i have replaced about every sensor on it. Runs great. Any ideas out there?

Best guess just on the description would be something to do with the EGR valve.
