Changing the computer motor and harness have vats question

I have a 92 that was originally a v6 and I'm transplanting the motor trans rear harness and computer out of the 88 gta parts car. My question is do I use the same key resistance as my 92 key or do I use the 88 resistance for the new key?

Re: Changing the computer motor and harness have vats question

The vats module is a separate part from the ecm. The ecm is looking for a signal from the vats module. Use the key original to the car. The older ecm might not even have the vats included to be looking for said signal.
