454 and 350
Hi Everyone,
My father unfortunately passed away recently and he was a huge third generation Camaro guy. He left me an old 454 and 350 motor. Does anyone know if these motors have any value or can you give me an approximate guess on what I could sell them for? I don’t want to look like an idiot by asking way too much or too little, lol. They’re really old motors that have been sitting in the garage for years, but from what I can tell, they’re fully intact. Thank you so much for any help you can offer!

The devil, and the gods, are both in the details.
There is SO MUCH possible variation in motors of those displacements, that we could "guess" and be off by a factor of 10 or more, based on what you posted.
Block and head casting numbers, cam part numbers, descriptions of the machine work on each, pistons, cranks, ... the list of details can get pretty long. On top of that there's the matter of how you go about selling them: some venues (e.g. craigslist) kinda favor the low bidder, some others (e.g. Hemmings) go the other way. How do you feel about shipping? Local buyers only, or will you crate them up and call a LTL truck line if that's what it takes? So many details.
The more details you can provide, the more likely anybody's guess (aka "prediction") here or elsewhere, will match reality. I have a crystal ball (yes I actually have one) but I'm not seeing a clear price in it for you.

Re: 454 and 350
they have value-anywhere from ~$50 to several thousand ,depending on what they are and condition.A standard stock smog era 350(smog era will have # 993,882 ,624 heads) might be worth 250-300 in decent condition.A decent old truck 454 might be worth 6-800$. Special factory stock engines or correctly modified will be worth more
