Hey folks. Have a 1992 Trans Am 5.0L 305. It has been stalling out a lot lately. Typically when I come to a stop, either after reversing and going into drive OR just coming to a stop for a red light or to turn into traffic. Any ideas of what may be causing this would be much appreciated. I’m thinking maybe vacuum hoses? I literally have no idea and am very new to car work.

There is a lot it could be and honestly, a data logging cable would be a great start.

It's like saying I have fever. What could be wrong with me Doctor?
Would like to help but I feel overwhelmed by how many things you need to check.
Well first, is it a TPI (LB9) or a TBI (LO3)?

My '91 did that occasionally 2 yrs ago. I replaced the ignition module with a quality AC Delco replacement, so far so good. Never buy an ACCEL brand module, you will be left stranded eventually.
