Coolant pooling up at the back of my intake

I've got coolant starting to pool at the back of my intake.

Does the back intake bolt on the driver's side thread into the water passage?

No. That hole is blind.

Your intake gasket is probably the problem.

That's what I was afraid of. I just had that damned intake off during the summer.

Jim check your heater hoses maybe one has a pinhole leak and is spraying toward the intake? You never know maybe you lucked out

I doubt it's the heater hoses. Every coolant hose except for the lower radiator hose is brand new, plus the pool is on the driver side of the intake. It looks like I'll be taking my damned intake back off this spring.

Thanks for the help guys.

ooh, sorry to hear about that. i just had to have my intake done b/c of a puddle i found in the same spot. plus oil and coolant were blowing through the gasket, and getting mixed together.

good luck
