More horse power needed
Hello im looking for some advice on adding more horse power to a new crate Chev 350/357 hsp. Where and what's your thoughts..
As the latest in Chevrolet Performance’s Street Performance crate-engine lineup, the SP350/357 is designed as an affordable performer to match just about any budget. Better still, it uses strong components and modern technology to make it a better alternative to rebuilding. The SP350/357 leverages the strength of a strong rotating assembly secured in a brand-new block with four-bolt mains, and matches it with modern valvetrain technology to support high-rpm capability.

adding more horse power
What car is this going in? What else has been done to the car to support "high performance"? Gears, converter, exhaust system, ??? What induction system is going on it? What intake manifold does it have?

Re: More horse power needed
In today's market, it would be easier, cheaper more cost productive to drop in a 4.8 or 5.3 LS engine

Be aware, this is a REAL engine, not like imports, where you buy this fart can muffler and it "adds" 15 HP, that cold air intake and it "adds" 25 HP, some tune and it "adds" 20 HP, some kinda krome something or other and it "adds" 10 HP, and so on; so when you get done with all that, you've DOUBLED your original 90 HP, butt still aren't going any faster, except by way of weight reduction, concentrated at the center of the owner's wallet. Can't imagine how that could happen.
