Re: Holly sniper 2 fitment gta hood

All Snipers have the same height as a carburetor. That said, it depends on the shape of the air cleaner base whether it will fit or not. I tried to install a Sniper on a 68 C10 without the air cleaner spacer and the air cleaner base had some interference issues.
Since the air cleaner on our cars tend be low profile you'll have to test fit.

Thanks ,on the trans am hood it's hard to tell if even a low profile air filter would fit.

Re: Holly sniper 2 fitment gta hood

I had a a carb style pro flo on my trans am years ago. It's based on a victor intake but its similar to the Holley design. No way would it fit under my TA good. I needed an hood scoop to fit it. I eventually switched to a pro flo XT and that just fits under a stock hood. Now I have a stock hood again!
